Basic Process of OrigoTracker Argus
This guide will help you quickly understand and use the OrigoTracker Argus to setup a equipment monitoring workflow.
1. Introduction to OrigoTracker Argus
OrigoTracker Argus is a smart industrial IoT system specifically designed for real-time monitoring of hardware equipment, aimed at providing enterprises with efficient production monitoring support. Upholding the "plug and deploy" concept, no programming is required—simple configuration in the system allows for low-cost alternative to SCADA. The system features a built-in real-time data dashboard, data warning/alarm/offline alert capabilities, and supports real-time analysis of equipment production data through trend charts. It also allows users to view historical equipment data, helping enterprises fully grasp production conditions and enhance management efficiency.

4. Use of OrigoTracker Argu
OrigoTracker Argus offers two methods of data monitoring: manual reporting and automatic equipment monitoring.
The following are the steps for the manual reporting process:
(1) Create a module
(2) Create a production line under the module
(3) Create manual data collection definition
(4) Create PAD users
(5) Use the PAD to report data
The steps for the automatic device monitoring process:
(1) Create a module
(2) Create a production line under the module
(3) Create an equipment type
(4) Create an equipment instance
(5) Set up data tags for the equipment instance using Simple Connector
(6) Create real-time equipment monitoring
